Answers to the questions we get asked most about our playmats, custom orders, care and delivery. If your question isn’t here, get in touch and we’ll answer it.
Sizes and materials
What size are your playmats?
Our standard single-player playmat measures 24 x 14 inches (60 x 35 cm) with a 1.5 mm thickness. This is the standard TCG playmat size used for Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and the One Piece Card Game, and it gives you room for your deck, discard pile and play area without crowding the table.
We also make double-player mats at approximately 71 x 61 cm for two-player games and shared play areas. The exact dimensions are listed on each product page.
What are your playmats made of?
Our mats have a smooth polyester cloth top over an anti-slip rubber base. The cloth surface lets cards shuffle and slide easily and works well as a mouse surface, while the rubber backing keeps the mat from sliding around on your desk or table. Some mats in our range use a neoprene surface instead — the material is listed on the individual product page.
Do your playmats have stitched edges?
Selected mats in our range have stitched edges. The reinforced stitching helps prevent the edge fraying and extends the life of the mat. Where a mat has a stitched edge, it is stated on that product’s page.
Care and cleaning
Can I put my playmat in the washing machine?
No. Our playmats should never be machine washed or machine dried. Both will damage the printed surface and can break down the rubber backing.
To clean your mat, wipe the surface with a damp cloth and let it air dry flat before rolling or storing it.
How should I store my playmat?
Store your mat rolled with the artwork facing outward, rather than folded. Folding creases the surface and those creases don’t fully settle out. Keep it out of direct sunlight for long periods, which fades printed colours over time.
Custom orders and artwork
Can I get a playmat made with my own artwork?
Yes. To start a custom order, send us a quote request with details of what you want made and we’ll come back to you.
Who owns the artwork I send you?
You keep ownership of your artwork. By submitting a design you confirm that you own it or have the rights to use it, and you grant us a licence to use and reproduce it for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order. That licence is limited to your specific order and nothing else.
Can I see a proof before you print?
Yes — proofs are available on request. If you ask for one, please review and approve it promptly, because production doesn’t begin until the proof is approved and any delay in approval pushes back your delivery date.
Why doesn’t the printed colour exactly match what I saw on screen?
Screens vary. Every monitor and phone displays colour slightly differently, and no screen matches printed ink exactly, so we can’t guarantee an exact colour match between what you see on your display and the finished mat. For the same reason, a colour difference between screen and print isn’t something we’re able to accept as a return — but if you’re concerned about a particular colour, ask for a proof before we print.
Orders, production and delivery
When does production start on my order?
Production begins once your payment has been confirmed. Weekends and public holidays aren’t counted in production time, and shipping transit time is separate from production time — so the date your mat finishes production is not the date it arrives.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States, at a flat shipping rate calculated at checkout.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You can track your order here.
Do you take bulk or wholesale orders?
Yes. For bulk runs — tournament prizes, local game store stock, event mats — request a quote with the quantity and design you have in mind.
Returns
What is your returns policy?
All sales are final unless the product you receive differs from what you ordered because of an error on our side. If that happens, tell us within three days of delivery and we’ll remake the product. We may ask you to return the incorrect or defective item. Shipping fees are not refundable.
Because our mats are printed to order, we’re not able to accept returns simply because you changed your mind.
